India has always been an important as well as profitable market for the Finnish mobile phone giant, Nokia. Brand Equity’s annual “Most trusted brands Survey” has given a reason to smile for the team in Nokia India as well as in Finland. In the recent survey, Indians voted Nokia as the most trusted brand, reports Economic Times. Nokia became a part of this survey in 2005 and in a span of 3 years the company has moved from 70th spot to Numero Uno spot. Being number one is in the blood of Nokia and they have proved it again. Brand Equity conducted the nationwide survey across 12 cities, involving over 8,000 respondents across socio-economic class, age and income groups. Nokia has always been successful in India because of it broad as well as in-depth portfolio of mobile phones that are available for all classes of people.
