FringLand, the company behind Fring, the popular VOIP software have announced an update to their popular product.
They have released two versions, one for Symbian and the other for Windows Mobile. There is no news as to why they have not released an update for their Symbian UIQ version.
For Symbian S60, Fring has come up with their 3.35version, which is more stable than earlier versions and also brings better sound quality. Speakerphone support is added for devices running on top of Symbian 9.2 (S60 3.1), and file transfer is now enabled for Yahoo! IM and Skype.
For Windows Mobile the version is 3.24, which supports a feature that enables auto-roaming between 3G and Wi-Fi, and also allows users to manually manage their WLAN settings directly from fring. In addition, FringME widget support is added and so are additional languages. In total the VoIP application is now available in 8 languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Italian and Russian.
