The Japanese are known for coming out with highly innovative phones, like the Chinese are known for their clones. Sometime back NEC came out with the NEC Flask, a fuel cell powered mobile handset. The specialty of that handset is that its battery is in liquid form and the level goes down as the battery depletes with regular usage of the phone, innovative right!!! Now another Japanese company Fujitsu, popular for their Lifebook Series of Notebooks/Tablets, has come up with a waterproof mobile phone. One thing about the Fujitsu F706i that is amusing is that, it can receive TV signals when you are underwater. Other specifications are,
- HSDPA support
- 1-Seg mobile TV
- Waterproof up to 3m
- 2.7" display
- 2 megapixel camera
- microSD/SDHC memory card slot
