One more Android phone has made its way to India and this time its from the Korean giant, Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy will be retailing around INR 29,000. This is the third Android phone that has made it to the Indian shores. Being a high-end smart phone, Samsung has entered into an agreement with Tata DoCoMo. The people who go for the plan by Samsung and Tata DoCoMo, will get 500mb free data for first six months. This is a good strategy of Samsung as AirTel and HTC had come up with a same kind of plan for HTC Hero, another Android phone, but then AirTel was giving just 100mb. Samsung Galaxy boasts of a 3.2 inch AMOLEd touch screen, 5 meg snapper, HSDPA. Wi-Fi, 8GB internal memory, expandable to 32 GB (competition for the N97 you see). Apart from this, Galaxy being an Android based phone, it comes loaded with google's services like mail, maps etc and users can also buy applications from Android market.
