The HTC Hero came to India yesterday and the Android obsessed HTC has again announced the worldwide launch of its newest Android based phone HTC Tattoo, some how I like the names they give to these Android devices. The main push, which HTC is trying to give is that, Tattoo is an full featured affordable Android based smart phone that appeals to the general public. With this handset i guess, HTC wants to put the power of Android and smart phones in the hands of general public. Like the HTC Hero, the Tattoo also has the Sense feature that offers customization, other features include, 2.8 inch QVGA display with resistive touch screen interface, 528 MHz Qualcomm Processor, 512 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM, 3.5 mm standard headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.2 meg snapper. The phone is named Tattoo as users can customize the colors and looks of the phone. The pricing of the phone is still under the hood but I guess it will be not too high as the phone is for masses and if the pricing is affordable then HTC should launch this one in India as soon as possible, where pricing is one of the main criteria of buying a phone and affordable Android based phone will be something new for Indian mobile users at least, in big Metros. Check out the HTC Tattoo hands-on video below.
