Young mobile phone users are one of the hot target segments for any mobile phone company. Nokia started the trend of targeting young users with its low-end but feature rich models. Nokia has always been coming up with models that are easily affordable to young guns in emerging countries. This time, the company has come up with Nokia 5000, a candy bar mobile handset that, I think runs on the S40 platform. If you look at the picture above, it seems the Nokia 5000 is from the XpressMusic range of Nokia handsets but that is not the case. Even in the Nokia 5000 commercial Nokia has associated the handset with music, dance, photo sharing and the happy side of life. Nokia has always focused on getting the human angle in its commercials. After all the company is all about “Connecting People”.
