Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

palmprefrontview.jpgJust 4 days are remaining for the launch of Palm Pre, which is on June 6th 2009, 2 days ahead of Apple's WWDC, where the new iPhone might be launched. The Palm Pre is one of the most awaited phone for the year 2009 especially because of its revolutionary WebOS. The phone has a 3.1 inch touch screen interface along with a QWERTY slider mechanism. The phone boasts of multi-touch functionality, which will be a big threat for the iPhone. Surprisingly the Pre syncs with iTunes easily and you can manage your media, which I think is a big plus point for this phone. Other features of the phone include, a 3 mega pixel snapper, 8GB on-board memory, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5 mm standard headphone jack, microUSB, GPS. Sadly, for the Palm Pre lovers, the phone will only be available in US on Sprint and there is no news on when the phone will make its debut in big European and the Asian markets, where it will get the same or more attention it has got in US. So just block your calendars for June 6th as many big shot blogs would be covering the launch event. Many people who have handled the Pre are pretty hapy with what the phone is delivering with its features and functionality. In the meanwhile, check out the Palm Pre Unboxing Video. The phone will be available with a Sprint data plan @ $199.

yup! can't wait. Actually, june seems to be totally packed with phone announcements. Apart from this and apple, even Samsung is planning something major, and i think HTC and Sony Ericsson too ( I am not a 100% sure about SE)
