Sony Ericsson recently launched handsets for the budget minded and the radio headed. Now the company has come up with handsets exclusively for the Japanese market. Like we all know the connection of Japanese people with all hi-fi and snazzy things, Sony Ericsson’s handsets are also somewhat snazzy. W61S is a slider and W62S is a flip phone....
The W61S is Cyber-Shot branded and has a 5.1 mega pixel camera with auto focus. It has CMOS sensor and with 3x optical zoom and uses Sony’s Pro Alpha DSLR imaging technology. The camera can also detect smiles and we can call it a digital camera with voice communication capabilities he he he. The phone also has large display screen with a resolution of 400 x 800 pixels and uses Reality MAX technology used by Sony’s Bravia HD TVs. So this baby has all the strong genes of one of its parent.
W62S is a flip phone and sports a resolution of 240 x 432 pixels. The phone can support external memory up to 2GB via microSD cards, and has 2 mega pixel camera. Other details of the phone are not available. I think this phone Sony Ericsson can even launch in India. What say????
