Meet the newest 12 megapixel snapper phone on the block. This one is by Samsung, called the Pixon 12 with a 12 mega pixel camera and is the upgrade over the earlier Pixon, which had 8 mega pixel camera. Samsung was suppposed to launch this phone at the MWC 2009. The phone sports a 28mm wide-angle lens, touch auto focus, smart auto that decides the ISO, exposure. The phone also features Xenon flash, digital zoom, face recognition, shake reduction and beauty shot. Other features include. 31. inch AMOLED screen, quad-band GSM, GPS, Wi-Fi, HSUPA, social networking support via SharePix and FM radio with RDS. But every time some company launches a phone with massive camera specs like these, I keep asking is it worth the buy or just another effort to show your technological prowess? Anyway, Pixon 12 will be available in June across European markets, no info on the pricing as well as availability in other markets like Asia and US.
