It’s time to cheer up all you mobile Gmail users out there because now Gmail on mobile will be available in 44 different languages. Yeah, you read it right, 44 is a big number and by making this possible, Google has made sure that they do not lose out on any users from non English speaking countries or where English is not a dominant language. This HTML5 based WebApp will run on iPhone and Android based phones and is available in Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (UK and American), Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian (Bokmal), Polish, Portuguese (for both Portugal and Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish (for both Spain and South America), Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukranian, Urdu and Vietnamese. Now, even though Apple thinks that Google did not do right by jumping into the mobile phone race, Google is making sure that its mobile products do not seclude iPhone users, which is a very smart move. The new HTML5 based version is compatible with, iPhones running iOS 2.2.1 and above, and all versions of Android. Check out the video below!!
