Motorola has launched Motorola Miletsone in India. DOnt be surprised as you have already seen this phone being launched in the US, under the name DROID. The phone became very famous in the US mainly because it was powered by Android 2.1 and its robust hardware. The phone has a QWERTY slider that comes out from the side and is one of the thinnest phones to have a QWERTY slider. Like the iPhone, Milestone also boasts of pinch and zoom feature and its high resolution screen enhances the use of Google's applications like Search, Maps, Latitude, YouTube, which are integrated into the phone. NAMP had an exclusive hands-on with the Motorola Milestone when it was launched last year. This Indian edition comes with street level navigation mapos for 401 cities in India. There is also a voice guided MOTONAV navigation feature for all major highways and national highways across India. The phone also boasts of unified Google, Facebook contacts and Microsoft Office. It also supports, IMAP, POP3, GMail and Exchange support.

The phone is indeed packed with features but it will only be available across select cities and shops across India as of now and will be priced at INR. 32,990. This makes sense cause Motorola as a mobile phone brand is not that popular in India.
