Samsung has showcased its newest tri-band phone the Samsung D980 at the IFA 2008. The best thing about D980 is that, it can carry two SIM cards. Dual SIM card phone are something which you don’t find easily in the portfolio of renowned manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. The D980 sports 2.6 inch fully touch enabled QVGA display with intuitive TouchWiz technology from Samsung. It can support microSD cards upto 2GB and has a massive 5 mega pixel snapper. If you have noticed, camera phone with 3.2 mega pixel and 5 mega pixel snappers are becoming popular and companies like Samsung and Sony Ericsson are moving towards making available phone with 8 mega pixel snappers.
