Last month, China Mobile was supposedly having talks with Apple regarding the entry of the new iPhone 3G in the Chinese market. China Mobile had said that they have not reached a decision yet and the talks were still going on. Earlier also, the talks had failed because Apple had not agreed to the terms of China Mobile. According to the latest reports from the blogosphere, China Mobile and Apple have resumed their talks and are in the final stages of their negotiations regarding the entry of the new 3G iPhone in the Chinese market. The CEO of China Mobile, Wang Jianzhou has said that, he and Steve Jobs both want the 3G iPhone to come to China. Hope this time Apple launches the iPhone in China at a price that people can afford and not like what they have done in India. China Mobile has 415 million mobile phone subscribers in its pocket so I don’t think Apple will do something to blow off this deal. A small percentage of these subscribers will bring good revenue to Apple and popularity to their 3G iPhone.
