The smell of Euro 2008 is in the air and Puma, the shoe company, is all geared up with it’s marketing campaign that will kick-off in 13 countries. Puma has started one of the world’s largest mobile marketing campaign that will be called, “Together Forever”. The campaign will enable registered users to select one of the 16 teams participating in the Euro 2008. Every time the team of a registered user scores a goal, Puma will call the user and teleconference him/her with their friends no matter where they are. Users can sign-up on the mobile site of Pumafootball and get goal alerts and invite ten of their friends for the same. This WAP campaign will certainly be a major hit with football fans all over Europe. Each country will also have its special ringtone, reports Mobile Entertainment Biz. If you don’t know Puma has come up with lot of football shoes with advanced technology and it directly competes with Adidas when it comes to football gear. One more thing, both, Puma and Adidas were started by Rudolf Dassler and Adolf Dassler who are real brothers and both companies have started associating themselves with two most happening things, Football and Mobile Phones. Cool na!!! So what are you waiting for, get set for the Euro 2008 and support your team, I am supporting Germany, who are you supporting???
