Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

x2.jpgThis is the leaked picture of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, the second phone in the Xperia Portfolio. X2 pics had leaked earlier. The first, X1, didn't do that well especially in India where it was priced around 44,000 INR, which is kind of huge cost for someone to shell out for a mobile phone. Maybe that is the reason X1 didn't sell well in the Indian market (Sony Ericsson should have learnt something from the failure of iPhone, which launched in India at a very high price point. Anyway, Sony Ericsson is now on the verge of releasing the X2, which like the Xperia X1 will run on customized version of Windows Mobile 6.5. The two major upgrades, which the X2 will see over the X1 are, 3.5 inch WVGA OLED touch screen and 8 mega pixel snapper. X2 will feature a faster processor and RAM is beefed up to 512MB. The phone will also come with a support to Windows Mobile 7, which means that an upgrade is possible. [Via]

The Indian market is something which most mobile manufacturers fail and will continue failing to understand hat exactly sells. Sometimes back phone model mattered alot, then mattered the megapixels, now nobody has any idea as to what exactly matters, what sells and what doesnt. Indian market willr emain the most strange market wherin a Ngage QD was a hit but flop everywhere else in the world. Btw this new phone in the supposedly leaked pic looks good, hopefully it wont be bulky.

Nice point of view Rocker..i guess in India low to mid priced phones sell like hot cakes unlike phone which go beyond the INR 25K barrier
