HTC, Android's only best friend, has announced yet another Android based handset, HTC Hero. Like its name, the handset looks sleek, sexy and seems that it is here to stay. HTC Hero's hardware is similar to that of HTC G1 and HTC magic but the form factor is more alluring. The handset has support for Adobe Flash, which iPhone still lacks and its also sports a 3.5mm standard headphone jack. Other features include, a 5 meg snapper, 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB ROM, 288 MB Ram, Wi-Fi, GPS, Compass, microSD slot. To reduce finger prints and smudges on the phone, HTC Hero is Teflon coated and has the features like Widgets, which can be customized to suit your needs and the Sense feature can be used to switch between different user profiles, it can also be sued to switch between different widgets available. Hero indeed sounds to be a great phone by the way, with all this catchy features. Lets wait for some more first impressions. The phone is more people centered. [Via]
