This is from Apple's global support site. The table says that AirTel is now authorized to unlock the iPhone. See the image below. Does it really mean what it shows? It also says that, unlocking will incur fees upon the user. [via]

i'm living in india.. airtel has also tie upo with other mobile company such as nokia.. i once used.. mobile unlock guide to unlock my nokia mobile.. but when asked airtell for unloking they said it cant be done

U can use the site Unlock Guide for the Mobile Unlocking Instructions.For Iphone u can better search in the Google search Engine.
