Yesterday it was Nokia and today Sony Ericsson has introduced two new HSDPA phones, Z780 and G502. I told you about the G502 if you remember.
“These two phones are quite distinct, yet both have the potential to introduce more users to the world of web on your mobile,” said Martin Winkler, director of global marketing and head of multimedia web at Sony Ericsson. “Being able to check your email whenever you like or surf the web when on-the-move should not just be the preserve of professionals. Z780 is a triband 3G HSDPA phone, an enhancement of Z770. The clamshell lets your browse the net and sends email at faster speeds. The built in GPS receiver will make sure that you don’t get lost wherever you go. You can easily access your web mail and secure POP3/IMAP client email accounts.



The other HSDPA gadget, G502, is a complete mobility solution that lets you access your email and secure POP3/IMAP client email accounts like the Z780. It has RSS widgets that get you the latest information right on to your screen. It also has a unique weather forecasting application that lets you know 3-day weather forecasts no matter where you are in the world. It comes in Champagne Black and Brilliant Hazel colors.

When you have the Z780 and the G502 you can have high quality maps that give you a satellite view of the local area all thanks to the latest version of Google Maps for Mobile built-in.

Yesterday, after posting the pics of the new handset from Sony Ericsson, the Beibei, now i have come across one more pic of Emelie, this time it is from the Se-Nse Blog, but this pic looks more of a rendered one as compared to the one which I posted yesterday, also if you compare this pic and the pic I posted, there is huge difference in the keypad of the handset.This one is the G502, also called as Emelie. SEMC Blog got this pics of a upcoming Sony Ericsson handset called the Beibei. What kind of names are these, Emelie and Beibei??

Remember the Emelie handset by Sony Ericsson, which was supposed to be launched at the CTIA 2008. Here are some more pics of the same handset courtesy the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog. Remember , me blogging about the new Sony Ericsson handset Emelie, so the latest gossip on that front is that, Sony Ericsson is all set to launch this chick phone at CTIA 2008. One this i have noticed is that without making prior announcements Sony Ericsson is on a launch spree, first it was the launches at MWC 2008 and now CTIA. By the way the picture is of Emelie, which leaked few days back.

Michell from the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog reports that a new Sony Ericsson phone is into making or is in the process of launch.The phone is based on the A200 operating system. The phone's display is of QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels) and is capable of displaying up to 262,144. The phone by the way will be called Emelie. The name is somewhat weird when it comes to the general naming pattrens of the Sony Ericsson phone but some time back I also came to know that Sony Ericsson was planning to launch a phone called Julianne....I think Emelie is tha same phone. Anyways, Emelie has metal body and there are 18 silver keys inside the casing. The call and end call keys are black and separate the silver trimming.
