Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

When launched for the first time, the iPhone created a storm in the world of touch screen smartphones and people got up and noticed what an extraordinary touchscreen OS can do to the entire ecosystem of touch screen based smart phones. In the same way, when T-Mobile launched G1, the first phone that ran on Android OS, open source OSs on mobile phones had a new meaning and from that moment, we have seen tons of Android phones being launched by companies like HTC, Samsung and Google themselves. May be not popular as the iPhone, Android as an OS was noticed and it is here to stay. Its been two years that T-Mobile launched the first Android based phone G1, with Google and now the company is all set to launch the next version of the same phone, the G2. This time, G2 will have tight integration with Google's own services. Actually you can read for yourself what the T-Mobile site has to say about G2, "The T-Mobile G2 will deliver tight integration with Google services and break new ground as the first smartphone designed to run at 4G speeds on our new HSPA+ network. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about the G2 and offer exclusive first access to current T-Mobile customers." Exciting piece of info is that the phone is 4G ready with HSPA network compatibility, which I think is damn cool!! Head over to the Official G2 page and keep yourself in the loop to know more about the G2. I am waiting!!
