AirTel and Vodafone have started selling the costly 3G iPhone in India. AirTel has even started advertising the iPhone 3G on national television. The ad, which is being aired from last two days shows how an iPhone 3G helps its users to manage Work Calendar, Work Emails and Work contacts. The commercial never highlights the multimedia capabilities of the iPhone 3G or not even the multi-touch interface, which is very surprising. From the commercial it is pretty much evident that AirTel is pitching the iPhone 3G for business users. Is this the right thing cause today's business user of mobile phones demands robust enterprise devices like the BlackBerry or the Nokia E90 or say the Nokia E71 and certainly not the iPhone.
