Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Check out this video on the evolution of mobile phones. The ride starts from 1985 with the bulky Motorola DynaTAC. The video also shows the first clamshell handset from Motorola the Motorola StarTAC. There are lot of Nokia phone also in all I think 15 of them in this video. The video also shows the Nokia 7110 that was shown in the movie Matrix, both, Nokia 7110 and Matrix came in the same year and that time the phone looked so alluring and high-end. Then comes the Nokia 3210, first handset with internal antenna, which is followed by the Sharp J-SH04, first phone to sport an internal camera. The later years that are shown in the video show mobile phones from companies like Samsung, LG and others, who are kids in front of the likes of Motorola and Nokia. The video also shows the Nokia N95 8GB, one of the best selling N Series models from the Nokia stable. Nokia N95 8GB is followed by the most waited, most hyped and most rumored mobile phone till date..yeah you guessed it right, the phone with multi-touch interface, Apple’s very own, the iPhone. The video doesn’t show any Sony Ericsson phones and as future it shows lot of concept phones like the Nokia Morph Concept, Nokia Strap Phone etc and end with the animated image of Nokia Aeon. After seeing this video I suddenly realized that how far the concept of mobile phones has come. First it was a luxury and today it has become a necessity with half of the world’s population having one!!!
