Recently Mr. Karunanidhi and the guys from BJP were fighting on the existence of Lord Rama and the purity of Sita’s character. There were lots of allegations, abuses, from both the sides and the public was enjoying it. If Rama was watching all this, he must have thought that this battle is more interesting than the one, which he fought against Ravana. Amidst all this one filmmaker from Indonesia has made a film on Ramayana, which is called “Opera Java”….now you must be thinking, so what, there are lots of people who have made films/serials on Ramayana (Ramanand Sagar is the king of all Ramayana serial makers, undoubtedly), but this Indonesian filmmaker has beaten them all and has come out with a film on Ramayana where he has given a Erotic Makeover to this holy Hindu epic……now this is what you call Mother of all Controversies. This film has already infuriated Hindus in Indonesia and I seriously think that this guy has never heard of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP and their recent outbursts on the Rama and Sita controversy in India.
