Some time back I blogged about Sony Ericsson planning to launch their gaming phone. Now there is a rumor ( a very common thing in product launches) that this phone will be launched in February 2008 at the Mobility World Congress. Like Nokia used its Go Play event to launch its four multimedia computers (Nokia prefers to call them like this), Sony Ericsson is also trying to capitalize on the reach of such big events, to launch its products.
However the new phones will not fall under the PlayStation Portable brand. These phones will have controls and styling that will be focused on gaming and will also have motion sensitivity. This technology is also there in some of Sony Ericsson's Walkman series phones. Lets see how they use it in their gaming phones.
