Nokia-3720.jpgMeet the Nokia 3720, first phone e from Nokia that meets the IP54 specification of being a completely water and dust proof phone. There is no official word from Nokia on this and this one seems to be a S40 based phone. This one was discovered by the Mobile Cowboys. Supposedly hitting stores in September on T-Mobile. Now you must be wondering what is IP 54, well according to its Wikipedia entry, IP Code is International Protection Rating and it is followed by two digits. Here the first is 5, which means "Ingress of dust is not entirely prevented, but it must not enter in sufficient quantity to interfere with the satisfactory operation of the equipment; complete protection against contact" and second digit is 4, which means "Water splashing against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect."
