Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Musicstore_Nokia.jpgNokia is all set to launch its Nokia Music Store in India by the end of this year. The company has already soft launched the Music Store and right now it is in testing phases. Nokia wants to make sure that before they do a launch across India, the Store works without hiccups and they have good collection of songs in their database. Vaibhav Sharma from The Symbian Blog, who explored the Nokia Music Store is already impressed with the amount of songs they have for disposal. The Nokia Music Store can be used on a laptop as well as your Nokia phone to browse though the music catalog and also buy the music. Sadly when the music store launches, the users would be able to access its only if they have vouchers given by Nokia or if they buy a new handset enabled for this music store. I guess this can be a turn-off for many.

To start with Nokia Music Store not only has Hindi tracks from big international labels but it also features Indian music labels, regional songs and good amount of English songs. The biggest question, which comes to my mind every time I think about online music buying is, Do people still buy music online/offline? With the proliferation and penetration of different torrent and P2P sites, the answer to this question is pretty simple. Anyway, let hope that, Nokia Music Store does well when it goes live in India and we will also get to see lot of "Comes With Music" handsets in the Indian market :-)
