Since 2007, Nokia has invested as well as restructured itself in such a way that it churns out devices that are best suited for users who look for entertainment from their mobile phones. Whether it is Internet, multimedia, navigation, music and other entertainment form like gaming. Over the last two years Nokia concentrated on music, maps, media, messaging and games but now the company wont be investing much in these areas. The investment levels will drop as compared to the previous year. Of course we know the reason, the current economic recession. Its not thta falling investment levels point toward Nokia's interest going down in these 5 content areas. Nokia will drive its initiative to become a global leader in Internet on mobile and focus on building customer base and loyalty in these areas. So in the coming days Nokia now will not come up with some break through or entirely new things but focus on enhancing its portfolio and how it can deliver value to the customer.
