Samsung has added one more S60 device to its mobile phone portfolio by launching the I7110. The I7110 is a S60 device from Samsung running on the Symbian OS with HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. This new Samsung phone boasts of outstanding multimedia technologies that are integrated into it with a 2.6" AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) display that looks to be very crisp and clear in resolution. As this Samsung handset is based on S60 3rd edition Feature Pack 2 it can easily become host to thousands of S60 applications that are available out there. The phone sports a 5 mega pixel snapper with auto-focus and LED flash. The I7110 boasts of 50MB of internal memory, a microSDHC slot, video recording, 11-hours of talk time and a 12.9-millimeter thin body. The phone's video playback supports multi-codecs and has DivX support so that you enjoy your movies on the go. The I7110 also lets your create widgets that sit on your mobile phone. This handset seems to be a promising one from the Korean mobile phone giant and the popularity of S60 and Symbian OS will certainly help this handset to do well in most of the markets in the world. The phone will be hitting Russia first. There is no news from Samsung regarding the launch on I7110 in India but given Symbian and S60's adoption in India, the I7110 will hit Indian shores soon.
