It seems that Goldstriker International is on a pimping spree. Two days back, the company pimped the immensely popular 3G iPhone and now they have come up with a pimped up version of the Nokia E71. Earlier Goldstriker had pimped the Nokia 8800 Arte and also the Nokia 8600 Luna, but now it seems they are pimping the mobile phones that have good demand in the market. Take the 3G iPhone and the Nokia E71, both have been well accepted by consumers as well as mobile phone enthusiasts. This pimped up version of the E71 is for Elite corporate crowd. Goldstriker has used Gold and AAA grade ultra white synthetic diamonds in the pimping process.

E71, the successor of the E61i, has come to India. Today morning I was just browsing the MobileNXT website and they have it in their inventory. They are selling it at a discount of almost 3000 INR. By the way this is one of the few Nokia phones that has hit the Indian shores so soon after its launch. To give you a snapshot the Nokia E71 has a full QWERTY key board along with a 5 way scroll key. The phone, also touted as the BlackBerry killer has access to email and you can also handle your office applications. It has a 3.2 mega pixel snapper with autofocus, video recording, and flash. The phone also has a secondary camera for video calling, cool!!!. The Nokia E71 is loaded with GPS, MP3, FM radio and a built in hands free.

Nokia unleashed its two email optimized enterprise monsters yesterday. Here are the demo videos of the E66 and the E71. All the mobile phone enthusiasts were eagerly waiting for these two phones, especially the E71, which some say can kill the QWERTY monster, BlackBerry. Enjoy the demo videos!!!

After much of leaks and demonstration pages being up and running for the 2 new enterprise phones from Nokia, the E66 and the E71 have been officially launched by Nokia. These phones will start selling through retail stores located in major geographies. To start with I will tell you about the E66, which was launched along with the E71. The E66 is a slider enterprise phone from Nokia’s stable. The E66 is a one up on the old enterprise slider, the E65. The E66 has an accelerometer that gives auto screen rotation feature. The E66 has customizable screen and giving enterprise users some stuff that they will be happy with. The phone has also some good features when it comes to multimedia, it has a 2.5 mm port like the XpressMusic phones, a 3.2 mega-pixel snapper, QVGA quality video recording and it also has bulit0in microSD slot. The phone is Wi-Fi enabled with A-GPS functionality. The phone will be retailing at $540. Other features of the E66 are - Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), Dual-band WCDMA (850/1900MHz, 900/2100MHz, or 850/2100MHz), Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Nokia Maps preloaded, 2.4″ QVGA display, 110MB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Measures 107mm x 49mm x 13mm (4.2″ x 1.9″ x 0.5″).



The other enterprise phone that became official today was the E71. E71 was also one of the most rumored phones from the Nokia’s stable. Lot was said about the E71, including leaking of its official launch date, even the demonstration page of the phone was up and running on the Nokia site, which was pretty surprising. I think, this has not happened with any other Nokia phone. OK leave it, I will tell you about the E71, which is supposed to be one up over the E61i, which did well when it was launched. The E71 is a smart phone with QWERTY keyboard in a slim package, not broad like the E61i. Nokia has improved on the size factor with this enterprise phone. The phone is a skinny and slender piece of gadget. The E71 is a better multimedia phone than the E61i, as it has a 3.2 mega pixel snapper, QVGA recording functionality and microSD slot that can support upto 8GB. There is also a rumor that the future versions might support 32 GB, says Symbian Guru. The E71, like the E66, will be retailing at $540. Other features of the E71 are - S60v3, Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), Dual-band WCDMA (850/1900MHz, 900/2100MHz, or 850/2100MHz), Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Nokia Maps preloaded, 2.4″ QVGA display, 110MB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Measures 114mm x 57mm x 10mm (4.5″ x 2.2″ x 0.4″).

Though Nokia has come up with the demonstration page of their upcoming enterprise phone the E71, it is still not announced officially by Nokia. Now there is one more rumor that the Nokia E71 will be available in white color and will be announced at the Nokia Connection 2008 event that will be happening in Singapore. Earlier, there was a rumor about the Nokia E71 launching on 8th May 2008, but that never happened. Let’s see if this rumor is true or not. The Nokia E71 is some what compact than the E61i with improved enterprise functionality and a massive 3.2 mega pixel snapper, if you remember, E61i users always complained about the E61i’s average snapper.

Two new E Series devices of Nokia, the E66 and the E71, leaked in the last 4 weeks. The demonstration pages of these devices are up and running, with BGR giving the hands-on review of one of these two phones, the E71. With all these rumors and even authentic leaks happening, Nokia kept quiet on this issue; but now I think Nokia has decided to break its silence with Nokia’s Senior Executive confirming to the Scientific American that, the company will start selling a group of E Series devices along with the state-of-the art multimedia device, the Nokia N96.

Now this is very strange, Nokia has not officially announced the E71 but the phone’s demonstrations are available here. Last week, BGR got hold of the E71 and gave hands on review, which was very strange, as the phone is not announced yet. Even Nokia is keeping mum on all this and I think they don’t have any problem with the information about Nokia E71 getting leaked (officially/unofficially) everywhere.

Nokia is doing pretty well in enterprise phones, especially with its E61i and the E90 models. Recently a lot of information, videos and pictures leaked about two enterprise phones of Nokia that have not been officially announced by the company. The E71 was supposed to be launched in May but nothing happened. The other phone, which I am talking about, is the E66, an enhancement over the Nokia E65, which is a slider enterprise phone. Like the E65, E66 is also a slider with some better specs like 3G functionality, fast HSDPA connectivity, 3.2 mega-pixel snapper and there is also a front camera for video calls. If you have noticed one thing, Nokia’s enterprise phones didn’t have good multimedia features, like the E61i’s 2 mega-pixel snapper was not that impressive and same was the case with the enterprise slider E65; But in both E71 and E66, Nokia has made sure that they have embedded a 3.2 mega-pixel camera, which is, I think the need of the hour. By the way Nokia E66 is supposed to be getting launched officially in the month of June, but after looking at what happened to the launch of E71, I don’t think June will see the official release. Nowadays like these two E Series phones, many other Nokia phones like the Supernova series is getting leaked before getting official.

Remember Nokia E71, which as supposed to be launched on 8th of May and till now there was no news about it. Now, suddenly Boy Genius Report has pictures of actual Nokia E71 and they have also come up with a hands-on review of the phone. This is very surprising cause the Nokia E71 is not official and then also its live pics are floating all over the BGR website along wit the hands on. Nokia if you are reading this its time for you to make things official.

According to the news from Boy Genius Report, Nokia is testing the E71 with AT&T, the US mobile service provider. The E71 was supposed to be launched yesterday but there is no news on that launch till now and today is 9th. Seems Nokia has also entered into the game of running rumor mills and speculations, so that their handsets get more footage. BGR got the report of AT&T working on Nokia E71 from their moles inside AT&T. Some times it helps to have your moles inside big companies.
