The iPhone 3G is just few days away from hitting the Indian shores, technically. I say technically because the old iPhone had already made its way to the country through the much preferred grey market route. Anyways, the new iPhone 3G will be launched in India in August and on 22nd it will be available with AirTel. I tried inquiring about the kind of pricing strategies and plans these guys(AirTel & Vodafone) are planning to implement for the new iPhone, but there was no success as both the companies are keeping mum about it. With 3G services launching soon in India, iPhone 3G will be used to its true potential. There are many people including me who think that iPhone is not the best mobile phone around. You will like iPhone only if you use it as a music player or a Internet browsing device. If you search about the uses of iPhone on the internet, you will come across many instances which point towards iPhone as a better Internet browsing device than a mobile phone. Like all Indians and mobile phone enthusiasts I am also waiting for the iPhone to launch in India and see how the initial reactions are and I am damn sure that it is going to rock the India mobile handset market.
