Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Eco-friendly mobile handsets, is the new trend that is catching up among the mobile phone companies all over the globe. Samsung has recently announced that they would be manufacturing a phone that is eco-friendly. Now what is so great about this announcement, nothing except the fact that Samsung will be using corn flour to manufacture the SCH-W510. According to Samsung, “W510 uses natural-dissolved bio-plastic made from corn starch for the battery cover and other parts, according to Samsung. Besides the plastic parts, the company applies other environment friendly materials such as anti-bacterial surface coatings to minimize harmful effects of mobile handsets on the nature and the human body.” It seems that Samsung is trying to set itself apart from other when it comes to eco-friendly phones. But mobile phones from corn starch are some thing I found weird.
