As I you guys some time back that Google is coming up with their Gphone, the WSJ has reported that Google will be shortly announcing advanced software and services designed so that handset makers can bring Google-powered phones to wireless store shelves by the middle of 2008. According to WSJ, Google's goal is to make applications and services as accessible on cell phones as they are on the Internet.
With Gphone Google will focus on services like maps, social-networking features, video sharing, and other applications. But Still their are lot of questions swirling in the mobile industry about what exactly Google is going to provide.
Hmm...Cool...so some good action is to be expected next year...2007 was the year of iPhone and 2008 will be the year of Gphone....most probably.
