Google has rolled out Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update for two of its awesome Android based smart phones, Nexus One and NExus S. This Android 2.3.3 update loads the phones with NFC features. Nexus S will soon be able to write NFC tags and can act as a NFC tag itself. Earlier Nexus S could only read NFC tags. The update will fix the problems of Nexus S getting randomly rebooted and also some bugs. Nexus One and Nexus S are two Google branded Android running phones that are doing great, thanks to Android functionality as a smart phone OS and frequent updates and thousands of Apps that are available in the Android market. After the tremendous success of the Android based Google Nexus One, every body is waiting for the Google Nexus S, which will be manufactured by Samsung. Talking about the Google Nexus One, it was done by HTC and is one of the most popular Android based smart phone. Thats to the fast processor, awesome RAM and some really cool features. Google's CEO had showed the phone as a teaser to the media and it is one of the hottest anticipated gadget this holiday season. Some time Phandroid.com had stumbled upon the phone's specs,

Engadget has been stumbling across the pics of the Nexus S time and again, check out these,

The video below shows Google Earth being used on Nexus One, which runs Android 2.1 and Motorola Milestone a.k.a Droid, which runs on Android 2.0.1. You will also notice that, when it comes to launching the Earth App. the Nexus One is way faster than the Droid. Maybe because it has a higher and powerful version of the Android OS but I think it is because it is a Google phone and optimized for running Google products and services. The app also runs a bit more smoothly on the Nexus One however even the Droid does not disappoint. I will shut up now and let the video do the talking!! If you have a latest Android device, maybe you should check out the Google Earth Guide for Android Users.

Google launched their much anticipated Android based phone, the Nexus One few weeks back. The phone is pretty cool, I saw one, which someone has recently bought. Looks good, features are awesome!! Surprisingly Google has sold only 80,000 units of the Nexus One since its launch probably you get it only online. Anyway, the phone is getting mixed reviews from the industry and yeah, the creator of Linux, Torvalds likes the phone. So do you wanna know the story behind the Nexus One, then sit back, relax and let the videos below do the talking.

Its good news for Nexus One customers. The phone's getting an Over The Air update today, which will enhance some existing features of the phone. Multitouch support is one of the significant feature that this update brings. However the multitouch feature is available only for the browser, maps and Gallery. Google launched the Nexus One at the start of this year. The phone runs on Android 2.1 and its features and applications have been developed by Google itself. The phone is however manufactured by HTC. The Firmware update will now have the Google Goggles app installed on your phone and you can use the Nexus One's camera to start searching the web. Updated Google Maps application version 3.4, which can be synchronized to maps.google.com, automatic night mode for Google maps while driving, search suggestions. Improved 3G connectivity is also one of the enhancements.

Unboxing of a phone can be as innovative and interesting as you can make it. Some people have very funny commentary with catchy lines during their unboxing videos whereas some with animations skilld make sure that the video is great even if the commentary is not. In the video below, Google has not left any stone unturned when it comes to making an interesting unboxing video. This one features the Google Nexus One and is unboxed by none other than the Ninjas!!!

Nexus One, Google's Android 2.1 based phone is now official. The phone was launched by HTC's CEO Peter Chou at an Android event in the US. The specs of the phone match to the ones leaked few days back. According to Mashable,

The specs match previous leaks. It’s a 3.7″ AMOLED display with a trackball.
- It comes with features such as a light sensor, GPS, and accelerometer. These are all features pioneered by Apple’s iPhone.
- It’s 130 grams in weight and 11.5 mm in width, about the width of a standard #2 pencil.
- The camera is 5MP with LED flash.
- The audio has received an upgrade. It has two microphones, one of which is used for noise cancellation.
- Customization is a key to the Nexus One. There are five home screens to customize your interface.
- Google showed off some of its dynamic touchscreen features of the software. For example, one of the wallpapers is a lake with leaves. When you touch it, it will ripple. It’s quite nifty, actually.
- They worked with the team at CoolIris to visualize photons on the Nexus One in a 3D environment. If you tap on an album, you’ll be able to quickly scan and load photos. You can also tip and dip photos based on your hand motions and the accelerometer.
- Every text field is voice-enabled. Every time you speak, it will process your speech into text. It gets better and better the more you use it.
- You’ll be able to buy the phone at the Google web store, which was leaked last week. You can find it at Google.com/Phone. It costs $179 on T Mobile with a two-year contract.
- It will be on Verizon in Spring 2010. Europe’s Vodafone will also support the Nexus One later this year.

nexus1page.jpgNexus One will soon be official, finally. For those who are reading this for the first time, Nexus One is the name of the first Google phone that runs on Android 2.1 and is exclusively manufactured by HTC for Google. Being a Google phone, it wont have HTC branding. The phones applications and other features have been designed as per Google's instructions and Google will itself try to sell the pone in the market. According the Gizmodo's sources, Google will be selling the phone unlocked as well as a operator bundled device. The unlocked version of the Nexus One is priced at 530$ and if you are in the US and a T-Mobile customer then you will have to enter into a mandatory contract for $179.99. As of now there is no official news from Google whether the Nexus One will be available outside US. But as Google is planning to sell it as an unlocked device, I guess it wont take time for the Nexus One to hit the European as well as the Asian markets. Lets wait for the official announcement from Google. T-Mobile has also officially confirmed the availability of the Nexus One.

It is one of the most awaited phone of 2010, yeah its the Google's own ,Nexus One. Manufactured by HTC, running Android 2.1 and fully Google branded and loaded with Google's offerings. The video below shows the Nexus One working and you can see that the UI is pretty impressive. Can't wait to have more dope on this 2010 attraction!! Enjoy the Video via Gizmodo.

Told you about the Nexus One, Google's new phone based on next generation Android OS and now, somebody Twittered the picture of the Nexus One. Cory'o brien, a San Fransisco based blogger has twittered the picture of the Nexus One. The phone's design is not very different as compared to many HTC smart phones out there. This one is also manufactured by HTC and you can also see a large touch screen, scroll wheel but the phone does not have any HTC branding. Nexus One is completely conceptualized and designed by Google including the user experience as well as the applications that will run inside the phone.
