HTC has developed a new phone called the Facebook phone and you know what it does? It is optimized for a person who is addicted to Facebook. Well if you think about it, every phone that lets you connect to Facebook and your friends can be called a Facebook Phone. Then what the big deal about this thing developed by HTC, well for starters it has a dedicated Facebook button and a program that is developed by HTC and Facebook together. There is very limited information on this phone and guys over at PocketNow got their hands on the leaked press images. These two Facebook phones are called Snap2 and HTC Icon, Snap2 has a QWERTY keyboard and Icon is full touch screen phone. Seattle Times reports that Snap2 will be called Cha Cha and Icon will be called Salsa and will run a modified version and Android, most probably Android 2.4.
Update - The leaks were for real and HTC has officially launched these two handsets with dedicated Facebook button on the phone's front.
