Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

The Indian mobile industry is vast and dynamic. In order to serve millions of customers, operators have introduced many plans and topups. These plans are complex and are impossible to analyse manually. For instance, today you can buy mobile plans from multiple operators with prepaid/postpaid, pay per-minute/pay per-second, and add a number of topups to each plan. Just for Internet access, you can pay per site, pay per usage duration, pay per capped data limit or go for an unlimited data plan. For normal voice calls the options are even more numerous.

While these options may help the operators market their products or reach specific niches of customers. They make it impossible for most “normal” customers to get an optimized mobile plan without a headache. 3GSimplified hopes to bring sanity back into the marketplace. Based on what you need, their engine cuts through the various choices to find the plan-topup combination which is right for you, saving you the most money and with no hassle.

For now they only concentrate on operators providing 3G services and 3G plans. They plan on covering all operators and all plans including 2G service soon. Currently the mobile marketplace is more conducive to change with consumers having more choices than ever. Many operators are launching 3G services at competitive rates. Mobile number portability (MNP) has rolled out across India making this the best time to re-evaluate your mobile plan and change operators. This makes their site all the more relevant and necessary.

3GSimplified has been launched by Cheeni Labs, which is a startup based out of Chennai. It was started by Jigar Doshi and Ankit Chhajer, who have experience with companies like Amazon, UBS and Apple.
