The Mobile World Congress 2010 kicked off in Barcelona with Samsung launching the Samsung S8500 Wave running on its own Bada OS. Samsung unveiled the phone before the main MWC 2010 event and it was indeed a very lavish launch. This kind of pre-event launch was also done by Sony Ericsson at the last year's Mobile World Congress. The Samsung Wave is the first phone from the Korean gianty that runs the Bada OS comp[letelyt developed by Samsung. By the look of it, the phone looks pretty promising. The phone's UI is very much advanced and feature packed as compared to the smart phones these days. It come s with Samsung's TouchWiz powered interface. There are ten menu screens for the user to play around with. The home screen leep you updated with respect to your contacts and you can control all your coinnections. The phone sports a 1GHz CPU and a 5 meg snapper with latest Wi Fi standards. Complete list of features - 3.3”amoled screen, 5mpix autofocus, flash, 720p video, 2gb internal memory, Microsd slot, HSDPA, WIFI b/g/n, 1ghz processor, Bada OS, Touchwiz 3.0, 3.5 mm jack, 1500mAh baterry, Aluminum body, Tempered glass, Divx player, 10.9mm thick!
For the Samsung Wave the Bada App storte is already there with around 100 apps but soon the number of Apps will grow including the country availability.
