Guys over at the Nokia Research Center are always busy developing apps, which might change the way we use mobile phones in future. Few days back, researchers from Nokia Research Center demoed a Nokia Radar App, which can be easily installed on your phone. By reading its name i thought, the app will show you who is in your close proximity, in the same way a radar does. But now, this app is different. Have you seem police catching old of speed limit violators using a speed gun? I bet you must have seen, ok, the app has the same feature and it also lets you control your phone without even touching it. I guess the radar function is nice but controlling your phone without even touching it is super cool. Radar features lets you measure the speed of movement of objects. The possibilities for this app are endless. In the video below, a researcher from Nokia Research Center shows how the app will work. He adjusts the volume of the device without actually touching it. This app is still in prototype stage and i guess it will take time when it hits the mainstream.
