Samsung to introduce its 12 Mega Pixel Pixon 12 in the Taiwan market soon. The Pixon 12 AKA Samsung M8910 boasts of touch auto focus ( like the iPhone 3GS), Xenon Flash, Image stabilizer, 28mm wide angle lens, auto set-up based on environment, face and smile detection, DVD resolution video recording. The Pixon 12 is positioned as an perfect imaging phone. Apart from the imaging features, the phone's other features are pretty impressive with 3.1 inch AMOLED touch screen, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, DivX and XviD support and microSD slot. Along with Samsung, the other company which will be launching their 12 mega pixel camera phone is Altek, a lesser known vendor of camera phones. Altek will be launching its 12.2-megapixel touchscreen T8680 and non-touchscreen A806 in the Taiwan market. Both the companies are doing these launches in order to boost their year end sales.
