Samsung has launched Corby Speed, which is a new CDMA based touch screen phone. This is the first CDMA touch screen phone that Samsung has launched. Samsung has launched this phone in an open market so it is not tied to any particular operator. With the Corby range of touch screen phones Samsung is living up to what its been saying, mobile for every lifestyle. As the name suggests, Samsung Speed targets youth who are looking for high speed data access on their mobile phones. The phone gives data speed up to 2.4 mbps. The phone is compatible with CDMA OMH SIM Cards from Reliance, Tata Indicomm, MTS. Apart from this, the phone features a 2 meg snapper, MB internal memory, 8GB microSD card support, large touch screen. The phone will be available for a price point of INR 10,000 with three color options, yellow, white and black. I guess this phone just misses GPS as well as Wi-Fi feature, other wise for that price point its a good phone to have.
