The new version is free to download and runs on iPod Touch and iPhone with OS 2.2 or higher versions. You can forward your Skype calls to any number you want when you are offline on Skype. There is also improvement on Skype-to-Skype calling and its now easy to send SMSs using the 1.2 version.
