N97 MIni.jpgNokia has unveiled the mini version of Nokia N97 called as N97 Mini at the ongoing Nokia World Event 2009. Its the younger brother of the N97 and leaked many times before this official launch. The mini looks just like the N97 minus the D-Pad. It will have 2.9 inch touch screen. Initially it was a rumor but the above photo and it coming on the FCC website confirmed the Mini's existence. The N97 Mini targets people who are heavy social media users especially social networking sites like Facebook. Improved maps experience on the N97 Mini as well as the N97 and is dubbed as the slimmest travel companion. The Nokia Booklet 3G was aslo shown in the demo of Facebook on N97 Mini..Sweet!!! The Nokia N97 Mini will cost 450 Euros.

Nokia N97 the big brother of the Mini will get 2.0 software in October 2009 and Nokia is also working on improvements on the N97 from the feedback they have received from N97 users across the world. The new N97 will have kinetic scrolling, new home screen widgets, imporved memory maps.
