The Nokia N97 Mini was finally launched by Nokia at the NW Event 2009. The N97 Mini had leaked many times before the actual launch and people were happy to see a toned down, smaller version of the Nokia N97 in the form of N97 Mini. When the Mini actually released, you must have noticed in the pictures as well as the videos that are floating around the web, that its not that small as compared to its big brother, N97. The major change is that the D-Pad on the N97 has been replaced by small and good looking arrow keys on the N97 Mini with well laid out QWERTY keypad. In its ads and promo videos, Nokia says that N97 Mini is shorter and slimmer but do you really think it is, cause I don't think so!! N97 Mini loses the lens cover, which is there in the N97. Overall size wise there is not much change but yeah Nokia has reduced the size of the Mini's touch screen and max memory it can be beefed up to is 16GB. Rest of the features are almost like the Nokia N97. So if the N97 Mini does well in the market and people like it, then why will they buy the N97. Nokia has priced the N97 Mini around 450 Euros i.e. 31,000 INR, which is really bullshit pricing. With the overall features like the Nokia N97 and pricing so high, Nokia has actually confused Nokia lovers after launching the N97 Mini.
