After getting the E75 from WOM World, I immediately started using the phone. Now as I have used the phone for more than 24 hours, I thought that I will share my initial experience with all my readers regarding the E75. I have reviewed the
Nokia 6210 and the
Nokia 5320 before but E75 is special phone and I am planning to do the review in parts. Just trying out something new with the way I will be reviewing mobile phones. Anyway, Coming back to the E75, the phone feels sleek and solid in hand and the slide out QWERTY keyboard is strong and does not squeak, however the alphanumeric keypad, which you will be using most of the time except when you are browsing the Internet or reading/writing mails, seems a bit cranky. The keys are not that smooth to operate. E75 feels like a narrowed down version of the E71 in hand, E71 is a bit broad but E75 is sleek and feature loaded. The alphanumeric keypad should be more clicky, however the QWERTY keyboard is nice to operate and it wont feel like key crumbling down under your fingers, keys are strong and solid. The slide-out mechanism is also nice and feels good in hands.
The keys on the side are pretty handy and lets you control the volume of the phone, take pictures, access to microUSB and the phone's memory card. Easy to operate and easy to find, like most of the Nokia phones. The top and bottom of the phone is clean with just one standard headphone jack socket on the top and a charging socket at the bottom, that's all.

The home screen is nice and big and gives you access to all your needed functionalities. It lets you switch easily between business and personal mode. If you have not set-up the mailbox it will notify on the right-bottom of the screen (you can hide this notification), if a message comes a icon will be displayed in the middle-bottom of the screen and if you scroll to that using the D-Pad, it will show from whom you have received the message. A similar notification will come for you missed calls on the left-bottom of the home screen.
The menu layout in the E75 is indeed confusing. It takes time for you to figure out, which icons are where and come times finding particular options like camera option, share online and other things takes time. That part was really irritating but its OK, the crisp resolution made my day and color rich menu is appealing. The battery cover of the phone is made of steel and looks classy. The best thing that I liked about Nokia E75 is its battery cover removal button. Sometimes removing the battery cover on Nokia phones is tedious but no on the E75. You just need to slide the battery cover button back and the cover will pop up. The phone sports a 3.2 mega pixel snapper and the picture quality is ok that that great as compared to 3.2 mega pixel snapper phones from Sony Ericsson.
The Nokia E75 is a nice, solid and robust phone. I am satisfied with the phone after using for almost 24 hours but then in the coming few days I will be using the E75 to it full capacity. So hang on, as an in-depth review will soon follow. In the mean while you can check out the
Unboxing pics of the Nokia E75 and
