Nokia's much awaited iPhone killer the Nokia 5800 also known as the XpressMedia Nokia 5800 will soon be launched in the month of October. This picture of this phone leaked on this Czech mobile blog. The phone is supposed to launch on October 2nd. Like Nokia has told earlier, Nokia 5800 will be targeted at the mid-range market. The phone has a 3.2 inch touch screen with Symbian S60 Touch. The phone also sports a 3 mega pixel snapper with auto focus. Other features of this phone include, QUAD Band GSM support, 3G HSDPA, GPS functionality, 3.5 mm audio jack, TV Out slot, microSD card support (8GB card included in the retail package). The whole world is waiting for this phone to come out as it is the first phone by Nokia with full touch screen functionality. This phone, though called as the iPhone killer will not directly target the current users of the iPhone as it targets the mid-range segment of the market and not the high-end segment. Lets see what happens on October 2nd, even I am waiting for that day.
