Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Most of the new phones today can easily connect to the Internet and let the users to browse, upload and download data. An oil-field worker, Piotr Staniaszek from Canada (mobile data download is high in Canada as compared to European countries) got new mobile phone with his mobile service provider being Bell Mobility. He thought that he can use his mobile phone to connect to the Internet as he had some $10 unlimited mobile browser plan from the Bell guys. He thought that this is an unlimited download plan and he downloaded loads and loads of high definition movies and other data.
When he was enjoying all these HD movies, which ran into gigabytes of download, I think he never realized that the Bell guys were charging him for every byte he used to download. And one fine day, Mr. HD Movie Downloader gets the mobile bill from Bell, which was as unbelievable as, he becoming the owner of the oil field he was working for. His bill for the month of November read $65,000 (its not a Typo, it is in fact $65,000). Of course he was shocked and when he tried to confirm with his service provider, they told him that it was in fact $85,000, now that’s something really unbelievable. Mobile Phone bills these days can be killing!!!! By the way Bell Mobility has asked that guy to pay just $3000 something…thank god not $85,000 but still Mr. Downloader said that he would be filing a suit against Bell as he was not at all aware of the charges. I think he should pay the 3000 bucks otherwise if he files a suit against Bell guys he will definitely end up spending more than $85,000….Best of Luck dude!!!
