Finally after a long wait for almost two years, the world's largest mobile phone market, China will soon be getting its iPhone. Chinese would be getting their hands on the iPhone 3G this October thanks to the agreement between China Unicom and Apple. Apple is now entering the world of 700 million mobile phone users and its a big deal if they really crack this market. Initially there was a rumor of the iPhone coming to China in September 2009 but this news has stopped all the rumors and the iPhone now comes in the month of October. As told earlier Chinese iPhone initially wont have a Wi-Fi feature but in the future it will be possible in China, thanks to its WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure Standard, which will soon be implemented in China. Foxconn will be manufacturing iPhone with no Wi-Fi for the Chinese market. Hope this time Apple cracks the market, which already has lot of iPhone user, thanks to the gray market route. In India, which is one of the biggest mobile phone markets, Apple failed to capitalize on the popularity of iPhone due to its high pricing strategy.
