Nokia has finally unveiled its first touch screen Symbian S60 device, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Earlier everybody thought that this mobile phone was supposed to be XpressMedia Nokia 5800. But now Nokia has given this device a name that will prevail, Nokia 5800. This new Nokia touch screen device will come up with two configurations one for the European market and the other for the North American Market. The phone was one of the much anticipated phone of this year and some days there was a leak that it was supposed to be launched on October i.e. today. Nokia 5800 has an impressive 3.2 inch touch scree with Symbian S60 touch. Its QVGA resolution is something that will attract toady's youth. The phone also packs GPS, Wi-Fi and Stereo Bluetooth with Haptic feedback technology that is supposed to make the touch screen experience of the user a bliss. Being a multimedia device the phone includes stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 3.2 megapixel snapper with Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flashes. You can shoot video upto 30 fps using the phone's built-in video camera. When it comes to memory, the Nokia 5800 does not disappoint as it supports microSDHC cards upto 16 GB so that you can enjoy your favorite movies and music on the move. Nokia 5800 has Nokia maps to capitalize on location based services. It seems that with Nokia Maps, Nokia wants to compete with Google. The phone is priced at $385 and it would be made available in Q4 2008 in Europe and US users will be able to get their hands on the Tube in first quarter of 2009 and we Indians, like always will get it after the US. I still don't understand, why Nokia gives more importance to US than India??? India is one of the most profitable markets for Nokia, We also want our Tube!!
