Not Another Mobile Phone Blog

One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Nokia's much awaited iPhone killer that was launched last week on October 2nd will be hitting the Indian market in the third week of November. This news has not yet been confirmed by Nokia but the date seems to be true, as Nokia Tube or Nokia 5800 is targeted at the mid-range market and Nokia might not want its Indian customers to loose out on this. The phone will be priced around Rs. 20 to 22,000 in India. Like always, the phone will be available through Nokia's flagship stores and Priority dealers and then it would be available from other retailers. Nokia has also said that they would be studying behavior of Indian consumers when it comes to touch screen mobile phones. Touch screen mobile phones are not new to the Indian consumer. Nokia's two touch screen phones, Nokia 7710 and Nokia 6708 (manufactured by BenQ) didn't do well in the Indian market as compared to other Nokia mobile phones. Nokia Tube has lots of features in its kitty and iPhone itself is creating a craze of touch screen mobile phones among Indians.
