One of its kind Mobile Phone Blog, that gives you views and news about mobile phones from India and across the world. I am in love with Nokia and their phones but I also write about other mobile guys. Think Mobile..Think NAMP!!!!

Bold

Few days back RIM or Research in Motion made a very bold statement in India by launching their newest offering the Blackberry Bold. Bold from Blackberry is like en enterprise mobile phones user's dream come true. The phone is being touted as the iPhone killer but from what I saw it cannot be called as the iPhone killer but yeah, it has some fundu features, which anybody must be dreaming of. This new offering from the Canadian mobile phone company, RIM, boasts of fast performance, more beefed up memory, GPS and Blackberry Maps and a new crystal clear brilliant display. People are even saying that this one is good for watching your movies and listening to your favorite tracks while you are on the move. The phone comes with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so that any of your Senhiessers or your JBLs can easily fit in. Also, as Blackberry is mostly used by corporate users these days to keep in touch with their work and mails, Bold has a secure 1GB memory that will make sure that nobody messes with your company data and your employer does not get finicky about you storing some confidential presentations on your device ;-)

Bold's File Editing feature is something that will appeal to corporate users. With WordToGo and SlideshowToGo users of the Blackberry bold can edit their Word Documents and PowerPoint Presentations. The phone is now available in India and is priced around Rs. 35,000. With this price it certainly sits in the same shelf where Nokia's N96 and Apple's 3G iPhone are sitting as of now, but the Bold's target market is entirely different. if you ask me, Bold will also appeal to common users like you and me. So with Bold launched at this price point, do you think it will do well in the market? Keep those views coming.
