What is the best thing in the iPhone....the touch screen right? Most of us wont even think of who will be making these touch screen displays for Apple. Not an issue, in 2008, Nokia and Apple were supposed to share touch screen display supplier, Innolux. Innolux, becoming Nokia's supplier is confirmed but the Apple part was little doubtful cause Balda and Wintek were supplying touch screen displays to Apple. By the way, in Jan 2008, Innolux confirmed its supplier partnership with Nokia but denied that with Apple. So as Innolux is supplying displays to Nokia in 2008, it is likely that these will for the upcoming Nokia Tube.
Digitimes has reported that, there is a rumor of Apple entering into a contract with Innolux for touch screen displays.
