Nokia launched their Nokia 5500 Sport as a tough mobile phone with Sports application. I myself have that phone and it doesn’t even come near to being tough. The worst part is the keypad of this phone, which has come out in pieces. Anyways, this post is not the review of that phone. I came across this new GSM phone by a US based company called Sonim Technologies, the company claims that this is the World’s toughest GSM phone till date.
Sonim Technologies, XP1 can withstand shock, water, wind, dust, dirt and extreme temperatures. To prove this the phone is on World Tour, which began in Sweden. This is what the director of Sonim Technologies has to say about the phone, “The Sonim XP1 is designed with the demanding user in mind, and will fulfill the requirements of a large number of Russian users."
I hope it is not a disappointment like Nokia 5500 Sport.
